It would be great if the staff let us know we should get out from subway exit Y13 instead of sending us a map with exit Y7, Y12 and Y10 where there is no escalator and lift, it’s hard to move with our luggage …. Hard to walk to the subway station, as Taipei station is very complicated with all the train, subway and buses in the same area, I think the same hotel in Ximen station is much more convenient and the rooms are bigger!

Convenient location, friendly staff
The staff were really nice and helpful. Room was a good size. Two beds pushed together so it was big. Shower and bathroom. Wifi worked well. The location is really good. The neighbourhood felt safe and it wasn’t loud outside. There are a few places to eat nearby and also a convenience store.
The amenities were very basic. No hand soap in the bathroom. Only shampoo and body wash, no conditioner. They didn’t change the sheets, only lifted them up and put them back on the bed. You can’t put toilet paper in the toilet so you have to put it in the bin until they clean it the next morning so it can get a little smelly. (But we found many public toilets were the same, I don’t know about other hotels)

Good locations and best if they upgrade their toilet to have bidet
Location beats everything hands down. Many things to eat just around the hotel and easy and several access to Taipei Main Station via several routes, above ground or using the "Y" Underground Mall (easier to get lost underground as it is quite confusing). walking above ground and crossing roads is easier, weather permitting. Lift to hotel floors don't have to wait very long. Room is reasonable size and not too small. Hair dryer provided.
No bidet in toilet and yet can't flush toilet paper, must throw in dustbin. Omg, back to 19th century. This hotel will be prefect for Taipei stay if the toilet has bidet.
